Our Media Center

Our Media Center includes our library and our computer lab.  Our library houses approximately 3000 books shelved according to the Dewey Decimal System.   We accept gently used books and new books that align with our school curriculum.

Some families enjoy giving a book to our library in the name of the child for his/her birthday.   Students love to open a book and see the name or a friend or family member, or their own name inside the front cover.  It makes them feel special.

Before School:     7:30 - 7:55

Lunch Time:     11:00 - 12:15

After School:     3:00 - 3:30

(Please make arrangements with me if at all possible

as I have many responsibilities in the school.)

Your access to the Media Center is my priority.

Computer Classes

Quarters 3 and 4 the students at all grade levels are learning to use the computer in an academic world.  We are focusing on computer basics.  This is very different from maneuvering through a software program.  Your child's ability to use a computer independently at home does not assure immediate success in Computer Basics.  However, all students will achieve grade level expectations with help and support from home.  School and home working together assures student success.

We are learning the keyboard, appropriate hand position, functions of special keys, how to use a word document, a spreadsheet, and a presentation package.  Most importantly, we are learning to follow directions!  Some students are having difficulty with this new challenge.  Please know that we only expect what is age appropriate for each student.  Occasionally you will receive work that your child has done, sometimes with an example of what was expected, so that you know what is happening in our computer lab.  You are always welcome to contact me with any questions you might have.  I have a contact link above.

Our Technology Plan

Our Technology Plan has been approved by the National Catholic Education Association and represents a three year plan for growth in the technology area.

We continue to work hard to meet the expectations that we set in this plan.  To view the plan, click on the link below.

Yearbook News

If you want a yearbook, please order it as soon as possible.

We are limited to the number of books we can sell.  We have already sold the majority of our book quota.

Don't be caught without a yearbook!  Order yours now.
