Spring has sprung and there is a lot happening at WES!

• Teacher Appreciation Week is May 3-7.
  

• Student Council encourages the WES community to support the USPS Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive by bringing items to school the first week of May. Donations will be delivered to the Northampton Survival Center. Please ask friends and family attending the Spring Art & Music show to bring items to WES on Wednesday night, May 5th. Your donations will help support the Kids Summer Program at the NSC. For more information about the food drive and items most needed, visit www.thensc.org.

January 2010 News

Grandparents' Day was a huge success! We're looking forward to having this be an annual event. Thank you to all the teachers and staff for their support and help with making this day great. Thank you to those who volunteered and helped with the set up and clean up. A big thank you to Connie Latka for chairing this event. We would like to extend an open invitation to grandparents to join us during COMMON AREA.

The Tastefully Simple Fundraiser raised over $800. Thank you to Sherene Quinlan, our Tastefully Simple consultant for giving us all the tools we needed to make this successful. Thank you to Toni Marcil for chairing this.

Recycling at WES! Thank you to Mr. Bates for providing a recycling dumpster. This is a big help in keeping our recycling efforts going in the cafeteria.

Golden Nozzle Car Wash Certificates are still available. Only $4...what a deal!
