Ice cream Multiplication Tests!  
In the news...
     We have decided to study multiplication facts to pass a weekly test.  Each time a student passes a test, that student earns one ice cream scoop to color, cut and paste onto an ice cream cone.  When the whole class has 10scoops glued to their cones, we will have an ice cream party!  To pass, you must complete the test without any mistakes ( o.k. 1 mistake can be counted as passing, but no more than one) in under two minutes.  A student can take the same test as many times as you need to in order to pass.  Students should use flashcards to study with.  Check out the flashcards on this site!

   We finished our "Locked in School" script!!! Hooray!!!  Filming plans and dates to be announced.....

    In science we have planted Wisconsin Fast seeds, so that we can write some observations about the plant growth cycle.

Reading- Read every night:) I recommend 15 to 20 minutes- or longer!      
 
Spelling-   It is a short week.   The kids will be responsible for these 4 words: pollen ,pollinate, carbon dioxide, oxygen.   There are other plant vocabulary words on the list this week, but those are the most important ones. 
 
Study creatively! sidewalk chalk! trace in salt, sugar, sand! use shaving cream!  
 
Math- STUDY MATH FACTS for a "scoops" test on Wednesday!
